Exercise helps almost everything, according to the latest research!

A recent paper published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine has concluded that ‘Exercise therapy appears to be a safe way to improve functional capacity and reduce disability in individuals with chronic disease’. What ¬†was particularly interesting to me was the huge array of conditions for which this appears to be the case, from haematological conditions to Parkinson’s disease. I guess that intuitively we all know that this makes sense, but in an age where we all tend to look for an easy answer in a pill, this is a great reminder of some common sense. It’s great to see some science that backs up this approach!
