Hello! When it comes to headaches linked to issues in the neck, known as cervicogenic headaches, manual therapy targeted at the neck can potentially offer relief. It’s encouraging to see such evidence supporting the effectiveness of manual therapy in addressing these types of headaches.

Determining the exact number of treatments needed for optimal benefit can vary, but research suggests that 9-12 sessions may be beneficial [10]. Based on our clinic’s experience, patients often start feeling improvement before reaching this point.

It’s important to note that not all headaches stem from neck issues, and distinguishing between headache types, including migraines, can be challenging.

I had heard very good things about the Abingdon Chiropractic Clinic but I didn't realise how true they were until I had my first appointment with Andrew today!
