Hedgehogs are increasingly rare in the UK. My girlfriend does her very best to hep them prosper by taking in under-weight young hedgehogs and keeping (and feeding) them through the winter. Sometimes the hogs are in poor shape when they turn up so they need some help, including tick removal.
