The other day, a patient brought in some doughnuts (thanks)! I was about to eat a second one when I remembered something that I had read in The Lancet about reversing diabetes. I thought it was a fantastic piece of research showing how it is possible to regain your health by changing your eating habits.  Incidentally, some of the side effects of diabetes cause symptoms that may initially prompt patients to visit their chiropractor.  Find out more by watching the video!

Our blood sugar levels are important

Some of the conditions that chiropractors see are adversely influenced by high blood sugar levels. Patients who are diabetic or at risk of diabetes are more at risk of getting frozen shoulder, for instance. This is true for a large range of health issues.
